Meet the team
Kirsten role focuses on helping the group meet its public commitments around diverse and inclusive hiring.
With a background in Public Relations and Marketing, Kirsten recently moved into this role after securing a promotion whilst on parental leave. She has always been passionate about the I&D space, and is excited to help create meaningful change in this area.
Outside of work, Kirsten is a snack provider for her time with her 14-month-old daughter, and likes to try out new recipes with a glass of bubbles.
Emma is the Acting Head of Cyber Resilience and Recovery. Her responsibilities include the Cyber Threat Intelligence function, Supplier Security, Third Party and Data Breach Incident Response, and Cyber Recovery Planning. Emma has worked for the bank for just over 12 months and was previously working at the Reserve Bank of Australia. She spent almost 17 years there, including 10 years as part of the IT Leadership Team. Outside of work, Emma spends most of her time with her 3 young children, you can normally find them at a beach or in the ocean.
The team builds, maintains and analyses data using the latest techniques including Data Science, Machine Learning and AI to provide world class customer experiences. Pip has worked for CommBank across multiple areas including Banking, Insurance and Funds Management. She has taken on many roles covering Marketing, Strategy, Program Delivery and is now working in Data and Analytics. Pip loves working with interesting people on interesting problems with a deep connection to customer. She has 3 kids and 3 cats and ultimately wants to work towards being on boards so she never has to retire.
Sam looks after technology for NetBank, CommBank, Open Banking and other apps. Sam joined the bank earlier this year and this is her first role in financial services. She is extremely passionate about customer centric engineering through lean ways of working and has a lot of focus on digital experiences. Sam started off her career as a C# engineer and has moved through the ranks of engineering and agile delivery in various organisations and through various sectors such as media, telco, agency, and technology. She has two young children and her eldest starts school next year.
