Meet the team
Sara is the Agile Delivery Manager for 2 of BHP’s 5 newly created Digital Factories. The Digital Factories’ aim to deliver high-quality software at velocity to our customers in the mining operations. As part of her role, Sara leads the ways of working and improvements to how we operate as a department.
Sara started her career in consulting delivering software for multiple domains such as banking, government, insurance and mining. After a lot of traveling, she decided to settle down in Brisbane and continue her career in the start-up world exposing her to new ways of working and culture which she is now bringing to BHP.
Najeeba is a Cyber Security Specialist as part of a global team protecting BHP from external cyber threat. She has 11 years of experience across Australia and India in application packaging and managing offshore teams. As a single parent Najeeba balances work and parental duties utilising BHP’s flexible work arrangements. This included managing home schooling throughout Melbourne’s lockdowns.
Rose is the Principal Delivery of a technology portfolio in the WA Iron Ore Integrated Planning and Remote Operations (IPRO) team. Her projects specialise in applications that support value chain scheduling from pit to port. Her past experience is in technical program execution across oil and gas, mining, health, transport and public industries. Rose is passionate about gender and neuro diversity in the technology sector.
Suzi works on a flexible part time basis in the Technology Enterprise & Global (E&G) Lead team, having returned from maternity leave several months ago. Suzi’s focus is the successful delivery of sustainable performance and engagement within the E&G team. Suzi has represented Technology through multiple business transformations, influencing and supporting stakeholders at all levels and accelerating value delivery for the business.
