Join us for our annual International Women’s Day Summit, a day dedicated to thought-provoking discussions and open conversations, where we bring together leaders, changemakers, and advocates who are actively paving the way for a gender-equal future.
You’ll hear from guest speakers representing our Endorsed Employers who champion women’s progress. These organizations have made exceptional strides in supporting and elevating women, and they will share their invaluable insights and experiences with you.
Our keynote speaker will undoubtedly leave you inspired and motivated, providing fresh perspectives on the path to gender equality.
This summit isn’t just about listening; it’s also about connecting. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with other leading employers who share the same commitment to supporting women’s careers and driving equity in the workplace. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.

Meet the key keynote speaker
Born in South Sudan, Akec was raised by her single mother in a family of seven, and for twelve years, they lived in Kakuma, a refugee camp in Kenya. Her family moved to Perth, and in 2009, she tried Australian rules football for the first time at an East Perth Football Club all-girls carnival. Chuot was drafted by Fremantle with their 18th selection and 139th overall in the 2016 AFL Women’s draft.
In 2018, she moved to Victoria to play with Carlton in the VFL Women’s State competition, and later joined Hawthorn AFLW at the end of the 2022 AFLW season. Akec is now a winger/half-back with The Hawthorn Football Club and serves as a mentor for young African women and men. She is also a passionate anti-racism spokeswoman and a role model as an Ambassador with Cadbury for the Cadbury Women in Sport Initiative during the 2021 AFLW season.
